Ms. Seber was the ideal executive coach for me – with her corporate background, ability to understand my background, personality, and leadership style. She also had extensive experience working with other government leaders and their associated challenges. This immediately made me comfortable with her to do ‘hard work’.
Through our coaching sessions, Ms. Seber effectively helped me understand my internal saboteurs, something I was unfamiliar with, and how those saboteurs affect the way I might manage my employees. I proudly proclaim I’m an analytical and methodical left brain nerd….WITH a highly valued and ever evolving emotional and intuitive right side to match. This has made all the difference. I love the ‘why’ behind things so am fascinated with the science and theory to the everyday practice.
I started Purpose Zone Leadership to help others become more than they’ve ever dreamed they could be – both on and off the job. This is living ‘in the zone’!
I’m passionate about helping my clients discover their most important goals and then customizing a plan (pulling in proven techniques and tools) to help them most effectively realize them. I do this by creating a safe place to gently push into their uncomfortable zone to discover new options of what’s possible is a key to my work – which creates long lasting results.
I’ve honed a unique blend of technical and soft skills during an extensive global career in biopharmaceutical, petrochemical, and consumer product industries. I’ve coached and advised CEO’s and top executives, emerging leaders, and entrepreneurs.
I work with emerging to top level leaders from government, industry, private professionals, and academia.
Most of my career was in Industry. I was with AstraZeneca for 12 years – my last position as Chief of Staff and Head of Business Performance for IT, with laser vision on digital strategy to improve medicine delivery to patients. Additionally, I held roles as Strategy and Operations Head for the Global Sustainability organization, Director of Commercial Project Management and Governance Body Chief of Staff – where I partnered with C-suite and other senior executives to develop top level strategy and drive key initiatives.
I am also a course instructor for “Essential Technical and People Skills”, “Digital Agility”, a targeted engineering consultant, and senior intern mentor for the Georgetown University Biotechnology MS Program.
I’ve been a long term member of Women in Technology – excited about helping young STEM women and colleagues be successful in this space.
